Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026  ·  Effective: July 15, 2026

Developer's note: This Privacy Policy was drafted by a curious developer based on research into GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and Google's data policies — not by a legal professional. While I've done my best to make it accurate, it does not constitute legal advice. If you have compliance concerns specific to your jurisdiction, consult a qualified privacy lawyer.

The Short Version (Plain English)

  • What is processed: Hosting and CDN providers handle technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site. We also process any email you choose to send us.
  • Third parties: Google provides web fonts and, on reviewed content pages, Funding Choices and AdSense after the consent required for your region. We do not sell personal data.
  • Your choice: You can reject or withdraw advertising consent and continue reading the site.
  • Your rights: You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we control. Email contact@petlifeadvanced.it.
  • No ads on this page. Legal pages are ad-free.

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for this website is:

PetLifeAdvanced
Operated by: Luca Cutrono (independent publisher)
Email: contact@petlifeadvanced.it
Website: https://petlifeadvanced.it

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) is required for this website, as it is operated by an individual and does not systematically process special categories of personal data at scale.

2. Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Navigation and delivery data

The hosting and CDN providers necessarily process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp to deliver and secure the site. PetLifeAdvanced does not run a separate first-party analytics database.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in reliable delivery, abuse prevention, and security.

Infrastructure providers control their operational log retention under their own documented policies.

2.2 Analytics

Google Analytics is not currently enabled. Consent Mode v2 defaults analytics storage to denied and no GA measurement ID is deployed.

2.3 Advertising and consent management

Reviewed content pages may use Google Funding Choices and Google AdSense. The AdSense library is blocked until the standard consent interface reports the advertising consent required for the visitor’s region, or reports that GDPR does not apply.

Legal basis: Consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); Google also documents limited processing necessary to provide and secure its services.

Google’s privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy. Google’s partner-site explanation: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

2.4 Google Fonts

PetLifeAdvanced loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser information.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — providing a consistent reading experience.

International transfer: Google Fonts data transfers are covered under SCCs.

Google Fonts privacy information: developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.

2.5 Contact email

There is no newsletter or account registration service. If you email us, your message and address are used only to answer the request and keep a necessary correspondence record.

4. CCPA — California Consumer Privacy Act

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

  • Right to Know: You can request disclosure of the personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. Google AdSense remains blocked until the required advertising consent is available.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
  • Right to Correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.

To exercise CCPA rights, email: contact@petlifeadvanced.it. We will respond within 45 days.

5. International Data Transfers

Google LLC is based in the United States. Data transfers to Google are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the European Commission under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR. You can review Google's SCCs at Google's Controller Terms.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR (Art. 15–22)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17): You can request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): You can ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): Where processing is based on consent or contract, you can request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): You can object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time through “Cookie Settings” or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email: contact@petlifeadvanced.it. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Italy, this is:

Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali
Website: www.garanteprivacy.it
Email: garante@gpdp.it

In the UK: Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Data Security

9. Children's Privacy

PetLifeAdvanced is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at contact@petlifeadvanced.it and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
